The two-day 'Celebration of Rugby' at Old Deer Park, starts with a spectacular gala dinner on Friday 6th March, hosted by Shane Williams (British & Irish Lions and Welsh legend) - and is then followed by an atmospheric screening of the big game on the Saturday - details here - and is then followed by an atmospheric screening of the big game on the Saturday, complete with wonderful beers, food and entertainment!
Events on both days will be held in our spectacular marquee - book early to secure your tickets as both events are always very popular!
Saturday - International Day at London Welsh starts with a charity rugby match between Headway Invitation XV v London Welsh RFC XV - commences 1.15pm, doors open at midday.
- Headway Invitation XV represent the UK-wide charity that works to improve life after brain injury. Through its network of more than 125 groups and branches across the UK, it provides support, services and information to brain injury survivors, their families and carers, as well as to professionals in the health and legal fields.
The game will be followed by the much-anticipated Six Nations clash between England v Wales, live on the big screens inside our famous marquee - joined by over 2,000 fans - the best match-day experience outside of the stadium!
Indeed, as one happy attendee said; “The atmosphere in the marquee is every bit as enthralling and exciting as being at the game itself!”.
Following the game, the much acclaimed 'Breaks' band; legends in their own right, will be providing live music - a combination of Welsh and classic rock tunes to dance the night away!
