Developing a Resilient Mindset - John Hartson

John Hartson is renowned for his tenure as a professional footballer for Wales, Celtic, Arsenal and West Ham. Having earned 51 international caps for Wales, John retired from the sport to become a TV pundit for channels such as Sky Sports, Premier Sports TV, BT Sport and S4C.

Amidst enjoying a successful sporting career, John has survived great adversity, having been diagnosed with testicular cancer in 2009. The cancer eventually spread to his brain resulting in him having to undergo emergency neurosurgery.

Showing the grit and determination seen on the pitch, John confronted the disease head-on, undergoing chemotherapy and surgery with impressive resilience. Through treatment and with perseverance, the cancer has been eliminated.

John will share his personal experiences and advice on resilience.
