Celebrating the role of Welsh Architects . . .

- Breakfast Talk
- Afternoon Workshop
- Evening Exhibition

For the second year running we are holding an Architectural event for Wales Week London.

As in 2022 we will be holding an evening exhibition (19:00- 23:00), showcasing the work of Welsh architects, who have a link to the capital.

We are fortunate again this year to have the main gallery space at The RIBA.

A change from last year is that we will have the space for the whole day, and we will be organising two further events - one in the morning (10:00-12:00) and one in the afternoon (14:00-17:00).

  • 10.00am - 12.00pm Breakfast Talk:

The Circular Economy and Architecture:

Around the theme of the circular economy, we will explore the work of Welsh Architects in this regard. Starting with a 15-minute meet and greet at 10:00am.

We will have five speakers, and a chair to organise discussion. Each speaker will present for 10-15 minutes.

Following this will be a discussion between the chair and speakers, then followed by a Q+A session from attendees.

The outcome of the event will be a better understanding around the topic, and an opportunity to share knowledge.

  • 2.00pm - 5.00pm Afternoon Workshop

Regeneration / The Circular Economy:

This will be a student engagement event, with a two-hour workshop / sketch design output; preceding it will be a 15 minute brief, with a 45 minute review at the end.

The output will be an A1 board per group, which will go into the evening exhibition.

  • 7.00pm - 11.00pm Evening Exhibition

The evening exhibition will showcase the work of Welsh architects.

We will have a 10 minute introduction at 19:30pm

The evening is open to all.
