Bouygues UK is celebrating our patron saint of Wales St David in time-honoured tradition but this year we are going virtual, and to help our celebrations and discuss ‘what it means to be ‘Welsh on St David’s Day’ we are delighted that our guest speaker is Eleri Sion, TV & Radio presenter.
Bouygues UK is proud to have had a regional office in Wales for over 10 years, Bouygues UK is one of the country’s leading construction companies. It focuses on sectors where it can add value through the technical expertise, skills and experience of Bouygues UK and the wider global Bouygues Group. These include residential, education, as well as technically complex projects across sectors where the company’s expertise can be maximised.
Guests will not miss out on the Bouygues UK traditional Welsh breakfast, this year we have worked with Bocs Bwyd a social enterprise based in Barry to create delicious Welsh breakfast hampers, which will be delivered to our guests.
Continuing to support our chosen charity, guests will have the opportunity to see some of the amazing work carried out by Llamau, whose mission is to eradicate homelessness for young people and women in communities across Wales and at this time young people and vulnerable women need support both physically and emotionally, arguably more than ever.
During the COVID19 pandemic, the people Llamau support have needed their help more than ever. Calls to their Youth Homeless Helpline have doubled, whilst their Domestic Abuse Services have seen a 123% increase in demand since the beginning of lockdown.
We think that there is no better time to offer our support.
