Join us for an unmissable Wales Week London event hosted by the Welsh Sports Association (WSA) – an afternoon dedicated to celebrating Welsh sport and physical activity, strengthening collaboration, and looking ahead to an exciting new chapter for the WSA.

This special gathering brings together WSA Members, Partners, and key stakeholders for a relaxed networking experience filled with conversation, insight, and collaboration. Guests will explore how the WSA has helped set Welsh sport up for success throughout its recent strategic cycle, while also getting an exclusive first look at the themes shaping the new WSA strategic plan launching this spring.

The event will feature informal and engaging panel discussions highlighting:

1. Championing the Voice of Welsh Sport and Physical Activity
How the WSA has advocated for the sector during the challenging last three years, ensuring that sport’s needs are heard, understood, and championed.

2. The Power of Partnership
How the WSA’s diverse and extensive membership network has leveraged collaboration to build a stronger, more resilient sporting sector for Wales through its valued Partnerships.

3. Making Sport Safer for All
How the WSA has significantly strengthened safeguarding across Welsh sport - through the rapid growth of its sector-leading bilingual DBS service and the launch of Safeguarding Plus, a specialist support programme designed to enhance members’ capability and capacity in the essential governance area of safeguarding children and adults.

4. Breaking Down Barriers Through the Welsh Sports Foundation
How the launch of the Welsh Sports Foundation is helping children living in poverty access the life-changing benefits of sport.
