Our Town is Thornton Wilder’s Pulitzer Prize–winning classic, presented in a bold new production at Rose Theatre Kingston, co-produced with the newly launched Welsh National Theatre and starring internationally celebrated actor Michael Sheen.

This reimagined staging explores the everyday lives of the residents of Grover’s Corners — their work, laughter, love and loss — and ultimately urges us to cherish the ordinary moments that define our lives. Directed by Francesca Goodridge with creative consultation from Russell T Davies, the production brings fresh resonance to the play through a Welsh cultural lens while preserving its universal themes.

The London run offers multiple performances in late February and March at the Rose Theatre, making it a major cultural highlight of Wales Week London 2026
