The London Welsh Chorale has rehearsed and performed in central London and around the globe since 1983.
Members hail from a range of professions and backgrounds, and the repertoire spans from the Renaissance to the modern.
The Chorale is committed to keeping Welsh music alive in London, and has supported many young professional singers and orchestral players in our concerts. New Members are always welcome!
All you need is a good ear, an enthusiasm for classical choral and Welsh musical heritage, and a commitment and willingness to take on a challenge. The ability to read music is not essential, but an advantage. If you're interested in joining the Chorale why not come along to a rehearsal?
The choir meets every Tuesday during term time from 7.30 to 9.30pm at the London Welsh Centre.
The first three rehearsal sessions are free for all new members to have a taste of the Chorale. There are no entry auditions and everyone is welcome, not only those with connections to Wales.
Membership costs £160 per year (a concession rate is available for retired and low-waged members, and STUDENT MEMBERSHIP IS FREE!).
For more information about joining please contact the Secretary via the email link provided, or come along to a rehearsal and introduce yourself.
