As part of Wales Week London 10-year celebrations, the Malta High Commission will host a special evening exploring the powerful intersection of culture, sport and trade in strengthening international partnerships.

Culture, Sport & Trade: Building Collective Wealth Across Borders will examine how these three spheres work together to foster affinity, trust and long-term economic collaboration between nations. Bringing together leaders from business, diplomacy and the creative industries, the discussion will spotlight opportunities for Wales and Malta to build deeper, mutually beneficial relationships.

Confirmed contributors include renowned Welsh jeweller Mari Thomas and Francis Dickinson MBE, founder of the HMS Urge Trust, supporting young artists. Representation from the Royal Welsh College of Music & Drama (TBC) will further highlight the role of artistic collaboration in international engagement.

This invitation-only gathering will provide a platform for meaningful dialogue, new partnerships and strengthened cultural and commercial ties between the Welsh and Maltese communities in London and beyond.
