This free event, open to all, will bring together academics, practitioners and infrastructure companies to discuss how infrastructure projects can help grow economies and connect communities.

The evening will start with speeches from two Welsh infrastructure experts Sir Terry Morgan, Chairman of Crossrail Ltd and Professor Mark Barry, Professor of Practice in Connectivity at Cardiff University’s School of Geography & Planning and who was responsible for developing the vision and initial plans for the South Wales Metro. They will speak on the benefits of infrastructure projects and their potential in Wales.

Following this will be a networking event with drinks and canapes.

The event is hosted by Furrer+Frey at Warwick University’s iconic London campus in the Shard.
